MMID's Michael Cusack visitor centre project in County Clare open to visitors, County Waterford's official tourism portal goes live, Bausch & Lomb launches national intranet and CPD College teachers courses taken by storm.

 

MMID is actively involved in research and development in the field of eLearning and blended learning. This research and development gives us the opportunity to ensure that our products and services continue to evolve to take advantage of the most recent trends and developments in the industry and the most up-to-date technologies.

We are currently involved in two EU Socrates projects:

1. Blended learning for Construction Industry Professionals

MMID is a partner in this project which proposes to develop blended learning modules for construction professionals. We have responsibility for Instructional design and for the technology to support evaluation the modules. Altogether there are 6 partners in the project from Ireland, UK, Germany, and Turkey. www.cpd-construction.com

2. Multiple intelligence framework for development of virtual classes

We are the co-ordinator and lead partner in this project which is developing a multiple intelligence framework for the design of virtual classes. There are seven institutions involved in the project with partners from France, Cyprus, Turkey, the UK and Ireland. www.virtualclassescentre.com
